My life has revolved around automobiles and transportation since I was a young child. Growing up I took over my parent’s garage and learned how to work on cars. From the time I was able to drive myself to work, I’ve worked in the automotive and transportation industry. At a Chrysler and Jeep dealership in the service and parts departments I learned how a dealership works from the inside out. During college, I went to work at a Mainline limousine company implementing post 9/11 security procedures at the Philadelphia International Airport. During college, I continued work on a full restoration on my 1970 Opel GT. One day, the owner of a local body shop saw my freshly painted 1970 Opel GT. He needed help and soon I was learning the tricks of automotive restoration, refinishing and reconditioning. We provided most of our services to dealerships and used car departments, which consisted of minor paint and body work ie. bumpers, mirrors, and impact strips, PDR Paintless dent removal, vinyl and leather repair and refinishing, and sometimes larger projects. This strengthened my ability to quickly look at a car and determine what was needed to get it retail ready as well as the cost and work required to present them in a marketable condition. Soon, I began to buy and sell cars on my own. My familiarity with the wrench, the internet / eBay, and the used car business, turned me into a one man dealership. I buy, sell do all the reconditioning then market them online to clients worldwide. To date, I’ve completed many successful online transactions both personally and for dealerships to clients locally and across the United States, Amsterdam Holland, U.A.E., Iceland, Eastern Europe, the Mediterranean, Africa, and just about everywhere in between. I had bought and re-sold many cars for myself or others using the internet and traditional marketing by the time I finished school. After graduation from West Chester University, I moved to Baltimore and quickly found a home with MileONE, Herb Gordon Auto Group, first in the Dodge franchise and eventually finding my place at their Herb Gordon Mercedes-Benz store. There I worked internet leads and built a successful eBay program marketing to local and international buyers. In early 2008, I moved back home to West Chester and began working at HomeNet, Inc., in the Client Services department. I gained a great understanding of industry from yet another angle and further honed my technical grasp. Now, I work with car dealerships everyday and help them to recognize value and take control of their internet marketing with the processes and tools used by the top eDealers in the country.
