As Interactive Marketing Director for Chrysler Financial I developed an interactive marketing strategy and tactics that compliment business goals, strategy and traditional marketing efforts. I built and mentored a team that exceeded all expectations and managed relationships with executives in my organization and in Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge.

Chrysler Financial is the captive automotive finance arm for Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge. As an indirect lender, its consumer strategy relies on dealers to send it consumer business. The biggest threat to this strategy comes from the internet as more consumers arrange financing before visiting a dealership.

The interactive marketing strategy focused on revenues and ownership, encouraging consumers to finance with Chrysler Financial and creating loyalty throughout the ownership cycle. The tactics included positioning financial sales services where appropriate within the purchase funnel and providing convenient online owner services.

Truecar, realcartips and pricehub recently launched. truecar shows a great, and good price for each car with easy to understand graphics for most if not all vehicles for sale in the US. The welcome is sincere... I have been amazed at how genuine people are here at ADM. You really see this when you go to some event and so many people are there because they heard about it here on ADM... I will be in Detroit all this week. I arrive Monday early evening, and am working in Dearborn through Friday afternoon, when I have a flight back to PHX... Next week is the start of our 52 city Ford and Lincoln Mercury Digital Advertising Summits. We kick off in St, Louis on 9/22/2008.

It is great to see you here... I am at home trying to recover after one of those rare not-so-much-fun-too-much-work weeks in Chicago and Detroit. Next week is all car company work in Detroit, so I am preparing to for that and trying to get caught up on expense reports. And, despite the fact that I should be doing something else, like those expense reports, I just had to go online to see if there were any new Automotive Digital Marketing Group members for me to welcome. And, shazam, there you were, a new ADM Professional that i have not yet welcomed to our community!

On behalf of both myself, and the rest of the 1,300+ member ADM family, welcome to our online community and file sharing repository... We are very happy to see you have joined our community of automotive marketing and sales professionals.

Please take a moment to share some more information about yourself and your professional role. More information links, some blog postings with PPT, XLS, DOC and PDF files attached are particularly welcome. And of course we all love to see and listen to your music, photo and video uploads. I pay extra for additional server storage capacity for ADM and any valuable content you upload to make use of it is all appreciated.

Please note that you can upload documents into any blog post, forum discussion, group, comments and other sections for ADM members to download. There are already hundreds of PowerPoints, Excel Spreadsheets, Word Doc's, PDF files and more... We would be thrilled to get you to upload a few of yours to share with the community.

VERY IMPORTANT - All of us at ADM very much appreciate that you took the time to complete your profile section by uploading a photo of yourself. Most ADM members would like to put a face with your name and profile... Based on what i have seen since starting the ADM Professional Community at the beginning of 2008, I can promise you that you'll get more out of ADM when other members see that you have uploaded a profile photo!

I love seeing more and more automotive professionals and auto industry colleagues like yourself join the ADM community... When I checked the membership section a moment ago, I was pleasantly surprised to see that as of today, and thanks to your enrollment we are now up to over 1,350 automotive sales and marketing professionals who have joined the ADM Community... With help from automotive marketing professionals like yourself, we broke the 1,000 member mark on the 4th of July, 2008!

Amazing support from an amazing industry... Makes the aggravation of flying around the country with a guy sitting next to me who keeps sticking his elbow into my ribs, somehow worth it!

One of the greatest features that ADM provides is that you have full access to your very own blog web site within your personal profile section (here) of the ADM community.
