I chose to seek further education in the areas of journalism and communications because I would like to take the knowledge and tools garnered and apply them to the automotive field. My journalism education focused on new media, in areas including social media management and marketing, basic website design, video and photo editing, customer relations, and communications. These areas are an integral part of the business world and I understand the importance this media has on brand imagery with customers. I embrace the social media concepts, like sharing, crowd sourcing, connecting, and communicating, and I am excited to apply them to the automotive field.

I am a highly motivated, ambitious, creative, and detail oriented team player, with a global mindset. Unparalleled communication skills are important in order to provide high-tier customer service. I communicate with the utmost professionalism. I am passionate about automobiles, communication, technology, and helping others. I am a man of integrity and always remain positive and optimistic. I am a quick thinker, considerate, and caring. I am confident in the decisions I make. I am always in the mindset of learning and being sharpened in order to be the best at what I do.

My career interest in the automotive field came through my grandfather owning two ‘57 Chevys. Starting as a young child, I learned to appreciate the finer aspects of the automotive field by attending car shows. I continue to attend car shows, as nothing compares to being in proximity of a vehicle, except for driving the vehicle itself. I also enjoy the opportunity to talk and share ideas with other car enthusiasts. As time went on, my interest evolved into all aspects of the automotive industry. My automotive interests encompass everything from racing, to safety, marketing, design, commercial use, and daily use. I stay current on issues and topics through magazines, television, but I consume most of my automotive diet daily on the internet and social media outlets.

I thrive on the ability to communicate to and with people. I am a focused, caring, and intentional listener. I actively pay attention to what people are saying, but not only verbally, as I am able to quickly gauge body language. I pay attention to details, like shoes, watches, hand bags, sunglasses, etc, as these are vital to establish a trustworthy connection with people. I am able to strike up conversation with anyone and absolutely love sharing my knowledge, especially of automobiles, with all who will listen. I believe my communication style is magnetic, ever drawing people closer and keeping their attention. It revolves around a mutual interest and fascination of each party, humor, details, passion, and of course, automobiles. Through all this, I am consulting people in making confident, educated, and beneficial decisions, which I enjoy greatly.
