- Got out of the service, went to buy a car, ended up in the business for 12 years. Got out and ran my own delivery service for 12 years (humm a pattern). Sold and moved north, out to dinner and the people at the next table started talking cars. You know what happened. Blood started to tingle, I butted in and 2 days later I was back in the business. Quickly figured out the place to be was on the internet. Asked lots of questions, read lots, made a you know what load of mistakes. Went through three dealerships. I am now the Director of Marketing and Internet for a solvent 62 year old dealership where the owner actually pays attention and supports the efforts of the internet dept. I'm no geek. I am challenged every day by technology. I'm a beach bum who can never be too tan. Loves his dog. Sucks at golf and plays anyway and LOVES the NY Football Giants!!!!
