Here Comes Google Cars

If you haven’t heard yet, Google is moving into the car business. In fact, their new tool Google Cars (which was clearly named by the engineering department) has already been tested in San Francisco and according to Automotive News is close to a statewide rollout in California.

For established online classified sites such as Autotrader.com, Cars.com, Edmunds.com, or KBB.com, Google Cars could prove to be a serious headache. I would not have wanted to work at Yelp.com the day Google announced third-party reviews would no longer be shown in their review lists…What I’m more interested in, however, is how it will effect dealerships themselves...

I recommend sms marketing solutions for dealerships. Service Appointment reminders and text message communication tools to interact with customer post sales. Text message survey, text message appointment reminder, oil change reminder, mass text messaging etc.

@0boy (J.D. Rucker) can we get you to weigh in on Ty Griffith's question about what software applications that KPA/TK uses to manage dealer accounts on Craigslist, YouTube, Google Classifieds, etc.?

Ty Griffith - I recommend www.Localeze.com for consolidated directory listing updates, or you may want to check out Yahoo's new directory listing consolidated updating and distribution service.  For video content uploading and distribution across multiple dealer accounts, including YouTuve and all the other major video sites, I recommend http://www.oneload.com/solutions/features and for posting to Facebook and Twitter, I recommend Hootsuite PRO version (not the free stuff) at http://hootsuite.com/plans/pro

Ty, about your question concerning KPA software, what type of function are you referring to?  I am sure KPA uses lots of different software applications for various tasks and roles, what job or service are you asking about?
