Since Social Signals account for 10%+ of SEO, most SEO CRM's include Social Signal measurement. Dealerships should be paying closer attention to Social not only for SEO purposes but also for measuring the rate in which they convert customers from their various networks.

Adding those to your fanbase, etc. is only going to hurt you in the future, when Facebook and the like come up with ways to penalize you. Think algorithm changes by Google, the same QA process for them.
Bottom line, you should be able to measure your social signals in order to verify overall post effectiveness. There are a bunch of Social CRMs that measure this and any SEO CRM worth it's weight in salt, should have an area that measures Social Signals (15%+ of SEO now).
As for Pinterest, yes, more female dominated, but they control a lot of the buying power, especially for families. Gentlemint is the more "manly" version of Pinterest, but never has gained quite as much attention.…
