Matt, you make a good point... For example, the @ADMcommunity Twitter account is all ADM activities, blogs, forums, etc. So, with that part split our, maybe I need to take some of the RSS feeds flowing into @ralphpaglia out of there, and then focus on more personal tweets. Hmmmm... need more hours of daylight!

@Ralph You should make your @ralphpaglia twitter account just stuff you post because right now it is a massive list of stuff from twitterfeed.

Hey all...Andrew here from 1-800 Car Cash...

Here is my .02 cents.

I'm nearly at 1000 followers. I've had my account for quite awhile and really didn't do anything with it, but a month or so ago I started to tweet and experiment.

The result is proving to be something amazing.

I'm not one to pat myself on the back, but ladies and gents...I knew absolutely nothing about twitter when I started. I mean seriously...NOTHING.

I'm slowly figuring this 3 ring circus out...

Here is the key...

Be yourself. Are you interesting? What do you have to say that will add to dialogue of life, art, business, whatever your heart veers towards.

I kind of buck the system by NOT hiding behind a fake name or fake company name. I am out there in plain sight promoting myself using my own links, but in a way that is NOT self-indulgent.

The worst thing you can do I have come to understand through trial and error is don't tweet too much and don't tweet too little.

When you tweet, make it meaningful or have some intrinsic value to what you are trying to promote.

Also, mix it up a bit. Add some links about cute kittens. Some links to a funny video. Bad art. Favorite song...etc.

But don't make your twitter like a FACEBOOK page.

Don't believe have the crap that you read from links that tell for 40 bucks a month they can get you 1000 followers a day...it's all BS.

You get followers the old fashion way: relationship building, hard work, good content, good links, PERSONALITY, PERSONALITY, PERSONALITY.

Anyone can add links and say the same crap that you're saying. What makes your crap better than their crap...right?

What makes you stop and read something? Think about that for a second.

The more I tweet, the more I realize that twitter is an amazing tool to help businesses small and large.

If you like what I am talking about please follow me on twitter.

Ok was that a bit SPAMMY? Sure, but I did it in a way that had interesting content BEFORE I put my own link in there. lol
