Keith, that was a great post and a fun discussion.  It really set the term Reputation Marketing firmly in my mind.  To me, Reputation Management should really be Reputation Management-Marketing.  Thanks for the blast from the past!

Ralph, that's cool.  I use something like that on my specials page to rotate reviews but I use javascript to achieve it.  http://www.applechevy.com/custom/christmas_special/Orland-Park-IL-C...  I didn't know about this.  This would make it easy to use on Social Media.  Thanks!

You got it Tom! Quantity and quality are not mutually exclusive. The goal is to have both. Then you have true social influence and the ability to generate ROI as a result.

Tim and Phil, what an interesting conversation.  Quantity vs quality seems to me to be subjective to the intentions and goals of the dealership Social Media.  I agree with you Tim that nothing is black and white; there are varying shades of gray.  To me, more is always better as long as the quality metrics go along with it.  Social Media isn't mass marketing.  It's about building relationships.

Certainly I would agree, Phil, that if both time and resources do not allow for it, you have to focus your efforts on the best shot for ROI.
