Thanks for your comments. Yes EBay motors is the grand DADDY of online sells and was the company that proved the model. Matter of fact, I have a slide in my presentation that states EBay answered the question of online sells yrs ago.

As I stated on the earlier posts, I am not debating your statement regarding inventory pics. As far as promoting Widestorm dealers, we are only providing info and results within the "widestorm group" in order to inform group members. The" revolution" I am referring to relates to a "new buying experience online negotiation provides for the consumer. That being, I do appreciate your post within the group.

You keep mentioning the big statements that I'm making. Your statement about your customers "leading the revolution" by using your service, is what peaked my interest. Are all the other dealers that aren't using your service wrong? You had mentioned credibility, well I'm not here to pitch a service to dealers. I'm stating an opinion based on my experience.
I did look at the JD Power pdf, and the Ford Direct site. The JD Powers pdf, just reiterates the fact that people go online and do research first. The slide 22 that Greg refers to, asks what do shoppers find most useful about the different sites. Of course the top things are going to be related to information gathering. Look at slide seven, and how many days out people are looking to buy. Come on, of course that many days out, you aren't gonna care yet exactly what units your dealer has. You haven't even narrowed down your search yet. Now, do a study of people that are past the fact finding stage, and are currently looking to buy now. Ask them how important pics are on a dealers website, and you'd be very surprised.
