Does anyone know of any dealers that have cancelled traditional advertising budgets entirely and moved 100% online with their marketing money?

If you know of a super-gutsy dealer that has done this, post a link so we can all see the "anchor" website. This would be very courageous, IMHO, but I'm thinking there must be a dealer that has done this. Just don't know who.

I happened on to your question. Yes I have several dealers who after our presentations and marketing time concepts have allowed zero newspaper. By the way the show-up percentage from our program is over 70% from the web-site to the dealership. Everthing we do is trackable from the site to the sale and from the site to no-show.

You will want to go to Grappone. This dealer has been in business in the North East over fifty years. A very average dealer.
was running news paper and other advertising as dealers do. We have a very hi-tech concept using what we call "Blended Media", we have turned him into a HyperLink dealer, not at all what you expect to see when you go to his Web site. The result is an increase of over 17% of closing activity from the Web-site. Because of limited news paper marketing his true cost for sales preformance is very low. Our theme changes on the spot, or as in this case we have a monthly theme. We produce reports that track every visit to the site and the results are amazingly accurate. Hey David,

Just ran across your topic & thought it was an interesting one at that. I work for the Douglas Auto Group in Summit New Jersey & we literally spend "0" $$$ on traditional advertising i.e. newspaper, radio and such, although we do have two billboards(we had four & the last two are probably going to be walking the plank shortly!~lol)), that`s it when it comes to traditional advertising. We`re really focusing on our web presence i.e. video, social networks & obviously, our websites. We also do not use any Pay-per-click, as I optimize all of our websites by myself, with much success. If you Google something like this, "Ken Beam Cars" you`ll get a taste of what I`ve been doing for about three years to establish Douglas on the Internet.

We`re days away from launching a totally brand new main website which I`m heavily involved in & really excited about!
