Justin, amongst the best advice I have received, and also one of my favorite American executive quotes is from William Wrigley, the guy who made his millions from chewing gum:

"If I have two vice presidents who agree on just about everything, then I have one too many vice presidents..."


Rather than suggesting a cost savings strategy, I believe what Mr. Wrigley was referring to is the value of a well informed discussion and debate in determining successful business strategies and tactics.

"If it feels wrong,it is wrong,don't do it"
"Read like your life depends on it."
Cash flow is king.

Excellent advice Ralph!  Debate and dissent are the catalysts to proper judgement/decisions and innovation.  Wrigley's wise words ring true today, especially in this political environment.

Very simple & basic advice I was taught very early:



"Remember where you came from."


Sad thing is how many people don't know either of them...

My grandfather told me the day I started with him to always remember the golden rule and always treat other people the way you would want to be treated.  Have faith in your beliefs and believe in faith.  They both have served me well.

If all that is left to complain about from your customer is the price.... You OWN your customer for life!!

Best business advice I ever got was...
