Car Dealers, Internet Sales Managers and Interactive Marketing Professionals

I am posting this discussion to share with you a new product that we had setup at my dealership. At first I was against this product because I thought it would threaten my job security as a BDC manager. I was wrong! Not only has it secured my job security it has made me the Hero at my dealership this month! It is always nice when a BDC manager gets to be the hero, too often what we do is not recognized. The product is called CallRevu. You can learn more about it at this website www.CallRevu.com. Basically what it does is save me hours of listening to calls and lets me focus on the calls I need to address quickly. CallRevu records, tracks and even listens to every call, then they send either a "real time alert" to myself or my sales managers alerting us quickly if there is a missed opportunity and CallRevu transcribes all the calls and provides us with a summary report every morning. I can focus my training to the BDC reps based on the report and I can praise other reps for an outstanding job without sitting for hours listening to calls. We have increase our sales appts this month with CallRevu because it allows us to find missed opportunities or dropped calls quickly and call the customers back and set up appointments. CallRevu offers a Free 5 day trial. I would take them up on this and be the hero at your dealership too. Tell them Kirstie from Condor Auto Group referred you.

I can vouch for this posting. I listen to a lot of recorded calls on call tracking services and it's amazing how many calls never even get answered. I personally know some of the people at this company and they are good folks with a great product.

This product has helped me be more productive. I get a call alert and I personally jump on it. It saves deals and helps improve performance of bdc reps. The owner of the company is Chip King, awesome guy.

Great idea. My wife actually does some of this as a virtual admin for some producer out in California. He gets a hundred voicemails a day. She listens to them, transcribes the important parts, and gives him a "to-do-list" per se of who he needs to call back and why, and who might be ok with just an email response.

Services like this are indispensable when your call volume gets to a certain point.

About how much does this cost? Give a range if you want.....

Give my wife a new Legacy and she'll do it for free for the next ten years. She's very open to negotiations.

Seriously, I can't say what CallRevu wants for this service, but when you look at virtual admin services on sites like Guru and Elance, a quality service provider generally charges $8-$12 an hour for this sort of service, provided you already have the voicemail set up for external access or online access. Right now my wife's base rate is $10/hr for most projects. Once she achieves a certain volume while retaining the same level of quality, I think she'll move up to $12.

She's on here, just joined last night even, Amy M Moore, and even if you don't become her client she'd be happy to help you find out more information.

I'm flexible in terms of rates and well, pretty much everything else. I get to work from home, I'm good at what I do and enjoy it greatly, and I get to help people. What more could I ask for? (Besides the new Legacy lol)

Nice pick.....the new Legacy is a super nice car and that's not the brainwashed Subaru coming out of me, it's just a sweet car, plain and simple.

Thanks for the info Alan, I appreciate it!

It's kind of sad when one thread starts off as a testimonial for one company and then gets hijacked by another person or company looking to capitalize off another firm's success and hard work.

I've sent the folks over at CallRevu an e-mail and suggested they join this community and share more information with everyone.

Just looking out for the interest of people I know and respect!

Seeing as CallRevu appears to do just this specific service, they probably have even better rates as they are specialized for the one function. They might also offer more of a per-call plan or even have an unlimited option. I've never dealt with them so I'm only sharing what I do know about that type of service.

I didn't mean to hijack anything. And I'm sure CallRevu would be a welcome addition to the community. This forum, from what I can tell, is about marketing, correct? Welcome to the world of it. You teach people how to be good on the phone. You are here to get your name out. That's what marketing is. Getting your service or product to the people who can use it, even if they don't realize they need it. You and Kristi both have already provided a great service to CallRevu. How many people here will now go and check them out? I know I did. In my business connections speak volumes. I have plenty and I appreciate Alan's effort on my behalf and found it rather amusing. I've just hired VA's to help me out because I have more work that one person can do and I now have a great team under me. Do I need to take anything from CallRevu? No, I really don't. Will I turn away a new client? Again, no I really won't. But I will assist in a little marketing and SEO help on CallRevu's behalf as I do that in my spare time for any company I think worthwhile(in my own opinion). I joined this forum to see what I can learn. If I can make some new contacts, more power to me!

Amy,

If somebody were to come on here and write a testimonial about the great services you provided for them, how would you feel if another person came along and said, "I provide a service like that as well and here are my rates."? I know I wouldn't be a happy camper.

Jerry,

I'd actually probably see how I could utilize them in my business or I would add them to my list of companies I refer people too. I responded to a post that amused me. Nothing more. I'm on here to learn how to market an upcoming car lot. It's a personal endeavor and it's new to me. What better place is there to figure it out?

I do appreciate your feelings on the matter though. I assure you that CallRevu is getting no disservice by my posting here and my little VA service does nothing to compare with their ability to send out SMS messages and real time information. I also do not work 24/7/365. I'm much smaller scale and truly not a threat as that is not my target service. This thread, I'm sure, is drawing quite a bit of attention and those who read it will be sure to click on the link for CallRevu to see if they could utilize their service. You do not actually see my website posted in this thread at all. You will not find me posting the link to my services in any thread either. If people want to find that, they are going to have to actually search for it as I work in a completely different fashion and don't really market my services. I market my clients' services and, again, other companies that pique my interest(like CallRevu). My business comes from onsite feedback and word of mouth. I have no need to compete nor do I have the desire and I wish CallRevu the best as it does sound like a great service.

If you'd like to continue this discussion, please take it off board.

Have a great nite!

Amy
