AdAgencyOnline.Net was first created to benefit our own auto dealer clients. We leveraged our experienced "best practices" by sharing them among the independent affiliated automotive advertising agencies and production partners of Ad Agency Online, L.L.C. and our pooled resources helped maximize the ROI for all parties; especially our auto dealer clients.

When auto industry web surfers found our blog talk radio station - WAAOL - that is posted on AdAgencyOnline.Net fellow automotive advertising experts starting contributing even better BEST PRATICES! The networked leverage that they provided has grown exponentially; much like ADM's members have leveraged this "think tank" to benefit us all. To quote Forrest Gump's mother - leverage is as leverage does - and Vehix is another example of that! Anytime an online media is supported by "volume" inventory and promoted by conventional media the leveraged ROI is enjoyed by all. I chose ECL, Gumiyo and VCL because they are the new guys on the block and they have learned from the original platforms - like Vehix. I will check my agency reviews on Vehix and get back to you but I also would like to hear from our fellow ADM members to share their ecperience on Vehix and the many other platforms that populate this vertical for leveraged online exposure.

vSEO is valuable no matter how it is generated. I agree that a custom video walk-around is valuable tool that not only will increase conversion but will also enhance SEO if the proper search words and meta-tags are applied and/or attached. A little tip - which I am sure that you know - is to also place the word "video" on the file name and on the page that it is placed. Google is ga-ga over video!
I think leveraging your resources is really the only way to succeed in the business environment today. EveryCarListed.com recognized this and we have certainly taken steps to partner with other companies to bring car dealers the best service possible. It benefits large and small businesses alike to be team players!

Philip. I agree that keyword selection is important. Do you have any suggestions as far as those go? Should you always use "Car, Used, Ford Taurus, 2008" or something like that? Are there advantages to using interesting tags like "Shiny, fast car or rugged"?

The fancy words aren't used as much by shoppers as the basic ones so keep it simple! Of course you want to mirror what you already have integrated into your site PLUS key search engine friendly words like "video" and "car dealer" "car dealership" would also enhance your choices.

Of course you can rank search words through Google and other services which should always be integrated into your initial SEO model as well.
Do you think there is any value to intentionally mis-categorizing your tags? For example, if you had 3 Jeeps for sale, same make and model, what if you gave one the tags of "off-roading, extreme sports and adventure" to shove your listing into a new category? It's still an accurate description of the vehicle...just not what people usually use. At the end of the video it shows other related videos where it will show other videos by your company as well...bingo, more people accessing your inventory.

Thoughts?
Mis-categorizing to enhance SEO at the expense of transparency and delivering pertinent information will reduce conversion to sales which is the true end game goal of SEO so, no - it is not a good idea.

I wanted to provide some detailed items for VideoCarlot's PushTube and vSEO, SEO benefits. Youtube/Google's website standard video listing format; title, description, and tags/keywords, map coordinates(google maps), vehicle information, and dealership information, are all AUTOMATICALLY pre-populated by PushTube with the relevant information for each vehicle video using the dealerships data feed to achieve top-tier "natural search listing rank", and new vehicle videos are automatically uploaded to YouTube daily.

Uploading videos to YouTube (since it's the 400lb gorilla of video websites) has added benefits with other video "feeder websites" utilizing the vehicle videos to generate added traffic for their own websites (like aol.video, truveo, meefedia, carvideosonline, etc), which increases the indexing of those vehicle videos on Google. Each Youtube video is also linked back to the dealership website, which as you know boosts Google page rank, and has SEO ranking benefits for the dealerships website in search returns.

The "Automated - No Added Work Involved" is the key benefit for most Internet Managers who would rather spend their time selling vehicles. Several of my dealerships also compliment their PushTube videos on Youtube with their own DIY vehicle walkarounds, customer testimonials, or other dealership videos when time permits.

BTW, the VideoCarlot Premium package also includes automatic vehicle video uploads to Autotrader.com, if the dealership has a qualifying package, and most do.

Thanks Mike, It is always good to put facts behind opinions and your details support my opnion - I guess that great minds think alike. The key now is being "First to be First" and the explosive growth of SiSTeR Tecnologies as well as EveryCarListed.Com suggests that the fuse is lit so me and mine have already jumped aboard. ADM members - stay tuned for some new networked relationships and developing extended applications tied to Video CarLot and EveryCarListed.Com that I am priveledged to know about and I will share once they are made public. After all, what are friends for!

By the way, since both VCL and ECL are consulting vendor/clients and preferred vendors of mine I recognize that I am prejudiced BUT, those ADM members that know me also know that all that means is that I put my money and reputation where my mouth is and that I chose to support them before you did!
