Professional Community for Car Dealers, Marketing, Advertising and Sales Leaders

If you didn't notice my updated profile this morning, I just left a Toyota store in Endicott, New York to help start a New Ford Store in my hometown of Sayre, PA.   We open next week.  We have hired mostly new sales people who haven't sold cars before.  I am very excited to embrace building a new culture in the car business, BUT I need all of your help.  I have worked in Toyota for 8 years and I am switching over to Ford.  I am looking for some great ideas for our website and Facebook Page to drive new customers to our store.  Links, fact pages or any other ideas that you may have.  ANY out of the box ideas that you may have would be greatly appreciated.

Oh boy where do I start?  I would love to be able to help you and there is so much to share.  Let's connect and I can help you get started on a good path.

I like the way SearchOptics.com builds and designs dealer web sites and services.  Other leading designers/companies are adopting many of their functions and designs.  They are leaders, not followers.

Ford have a pretty lively social media scene. Using their content and developing some sort of application (which are found under your profile picture) to stream content such as video, which Ford have many is a free way to easily use your OEM's social media content to booster traffic to your own page.

I can tell you I have used several companies but one of the best out there is DealerOn! They increased my dealers visitor to lead conversions by over 400%, we also added social media widgets, add this button, and Presto Ratings and Reviews to the front page. Choosing them as a website provider/partner was a stone cold home run. With their platform I am able to guaranty results or you the Dealer doesn't pay! Words I love to say!

The future is pushing towards a website that can communicate and integrate with your CRM. Here's the pitch...do a demo with VinSolutions, actually do a demo with all recommended website providers.

Sounds exciting!! Infographics are a nice way to build links to a new website and you can even use posters around the dealership.  Maybe blend in some info about your home town with facts/info about Ford and automobiles in general.  Here is a good site that will show you what some other savvy marketing people are doing www.infographicsshowcase.com

Good Luck!
