CRM apps with slow, lethargic transitions from one screen to the next while dealership employees are trying to get their work down (High Latency) absolutely SUCK! Nothing will drive utilization down to levels approaching zero in a car dealership faster than slow CRM applications.
This is not theory for me, I have invested major portions of my automotive career in CRM application, strategy and system design and there is nothing worse than S-L-O-W!
This is the very same deficiency that killed the Torque provided GM "One Source" CRM application for dealers... Apparently, slow is OK in Canada, but USA based GM dealers overwhelmingly said "get this slow pig of a CRM app outta here!", thus killing a program with great strategy, but a poor choice of CRM app... Too SLOW!
