I am looking at possibly hiring a consultant to come in and help me get better results from my internet department and BDC. We have grown quickly over the last year and we need help in getting the most out of the leads we have from our internet department. We are also trying to expand our BDC to increase showroom traffic but need help there as well. Please let me know if you have worked with someone that you recommend for these areas.

I have met Alex a couple times over the past few years and have seen his dealership's productivity and success from the OEM perspective... This is a great opportunity for the right consultant to work with a talented team and a truly exceptional dealership. I'm excited for you that you KNOW that you have a need and are actively seeking a worthy partner in the pursuit of your goal.
With more than fourteen years focused strictly on the Internet Automotive realm, BDC, and CRM (I call myself a dinosaur), I can tell you with certainty that you'll find more qualitative advice out there than blueprints that offer a quantitative result.
I've been through it all. ALL of the OEM trainings, all of the third party lead provider sessions. And at the end of the day, my Internet department and my guys were no better than the guys down the street.
My career changed in 2002 when I met the originator of the Mastery Council, Eddie Coleman. He's a maverick. And a lot of people in the car business who aren't in it to win it don't want to "get" what the Mastery Council brings to the table.
If you want more leads, more appointments, more shows, more sales, and more GROSS, you want the Mastery Council in your store.
I implemented the Mastery Council principles in three dealer groups and two single point stores and literally turned stores around.
In my mind, what I'm talking about is the P-90X of the Internet/BDC dogma that is out there. It's not the 30$ for a bottle of pills and you're gonna lose 30 pounds. We're talking about investing in a work-out plan that will literally change the course of your business forever.
I like to say that there are a lot of landmines out there. The vendors know that the car business has "woken up" and the prospecting is heavy. I'd love to talk to you about what I gleaned from the Mastery Council teachings and from Eddie Coleman, and about the specifics of your particular situation. Every dealership is different. That factor alone is something you need to make certain your ideal partner clearly understands and addresses.

I think you should put all of us in a room, throw out some of your questions and let everyone discuss how they would approach your situation, live and in person. I don’t believe that you will see many consultants in this industry hide behind the “I’d have to get more details and analyze your issues in private” curtain. Although in the end a deeper look is always mandatory. Still I think you’ll get good answers, good general insights and be able to make an accelerated decision much more efficiently.

BDC Trainer’s Round Table Webinar Discussion

This round table webinar was inspired by Alex Andreus of Brickell of Honda, Buick, Pontiac, GMC. Alex made a posted on Automotive Digital Marketing, which can be viewed here http://bit.ly/amKua1 in which he made the following statement.

In a world of social media I believe that professionals such as Alex should be able to post some questions, conduct some interviews and get some solid entry level answers without having to expend more time than necessary. With that in mind I created this webinar as an experiment.
