Is this inventory marketing software commercially viable?

We have started working on a custom piece of software that updates over 200 online classifieds ad sites with a dealerships inventory either from a text file, excel file, microsoft access datatbase, or our own custom online inventory management web application.

We are building this for a local client, but I was wondering if something like this would be commercially viable? Would this be something that other dealerships would be interested in?
