ecarlist is THE dealers' Internet management solution. Our product offers dealerships a simple platform that creates a profile for each vehicle in inventory and exports that profile to most third party marketing sites, such as eBayMotors, Autotrader, Cars.com and many more.

That is really just the tip of the iceberg. With the most robust VIN decoder in the industry, we now offer an analytics engine that pipes in all the sales comparables from eBay, Autotrader, and Cars.com. This data can be refined to show only comparables within 1000 miles of your mileage and provides you with live links to the your actual competitors' ads. Only interested in comparables in your area? No problem, we can refine the data for only vehicles within 25 miles (or 50 miles, or 100 miles, etc.) of your dealership.

Need a better solution to get your paperwork into the hands of your out of state customers? Fed-Ex gets the job done, but we have a solution that initiates the paperwork process for your customers the minute they close on an eBay auction. At 2:00am (or whenever your customer hits "Buy it Now") your customers can now begin their paperwork process on that car they just purchased. When you get back to the office, you will have a bill of sale populated with all of your customers information, all the vehicle information, and it's all generated by the ecarlist software and ready to be emailed to your customer.

Hey Terry :-) What takes the fun out of these websites for me (I might be the only one) are people who try to make other people look stupid or like they don't know what they are talking about......its people like you breaking all of the rules, we certainly don't do that, so I think I'll try and discredit you so I look like the better company, I'm not trying to bust your balls, well I guess I am but in the meantime I'll accuse you of double talking and I hope you don't see that is exactly what I have been doing :-) Nothing personal Terry, I just had to comment on your posts as they were very amusing.

Look at my profile, yes - I work for VinSolutions. I'm only two weeks into to the job so the below comments will be from a Director of eCommerce of two different groups.

I have used VinSolutions for the past two years. Almost all of what they have to offer.

I have used the manual craigslist tool that Matt was talking about and the MotoBlast. Both stores I worked for still use MotoBlast and LOVE IT! It works awesome!

They both continue to take pictures in-house and have the VinCameras. One of the Internet guys doesn't like the camera because he is attached to a $900 Sony camera he has. All of the rest use the VinCameras. Its incredible how it uploads the pics with the VinSolutions software.

I have not had the pleasure of using the other two companies above so I can't say that VinSolutions is "better" but what I can say, is VinSolutions is a powerful system. Seamless and so easy to use, even a salesperson can use it :-) Settle down, I'm a salesperson too, 12 years in the business.....Besides the two groups I worked for, because I have a few contacts across the country from when I was consulting before, I recommended VinSolutions to them and they have the same feelings - Awesome! They take pictures in-house, craigslist, ILM/CRM, etc, etc.

In fact, before I would go to work for the second group, I told him I wouldn't unless they switched to VinSolutions. That's what I think of the company. So what better thing than to go work for VinSolutions. Gotta love it :-)

If anyone has questions about VinSolutions, I have been involved in two complete installs at the dealer level, I know the system, how to use it, the reports within the system, the features, etc - ask away on a different post so we don't take any more of Blaines section up.

If you want to get some managers upset and flying off the handle, tell the ones that I worked with they can't use VinSolutions anymore because they all love it! And they have used quite a few systems, they are guys that are 20+ and 30 plus in the biz.

Thats my 20 bucks.

Dealer's aren't supposed to list their vehicles in multiple cities, but they do it even without our assistance. So they ask us to help...

Dealers are not asking you to help with this, you are marketing this type of service on your website as a competitive advantage against ethical companies who refuse to break the rules.

Not Confusing, just double talk. It is either fully automated as you said and your a posting agent or the dealer has to do something to list a car and therefore the process is not full automated.

No worries Craigslist is not monitoring this site.

Per our conversations with SmartPillar, "Your" product is actually just bolt-on software developed by SmartPillar. We were approached by the same company and don't feel that their product specs are up to speed with what we are currently delivering. Furthermore, if we did offer it, I wouldn't be chiming into my competitions forum discussions to boast about a product that we didn't even develop and we are merely reselling.
Everything in ecarlist is developed in-house.
