Use a quality HD camera. Does not have to be professional grade. I use a Canon Vixia HF R300.

Lighting is very important. Especially interior with minimal shadows.

Find a setting with large well shaded area with minimal sunlight so as not to have shadows on interior shots. I usually find an area shaded by trees.

Noise from passing cars and natural sounds won't bother the buyer watching the video BUT a person talking about the car will. Remember this video will complement your posting where a description is written.

Decide what little features are there but not often shown, i.e., dampened glove box slowly opening with one touch.

Take a complete walk around car and make sure you can open and use all features. A real tricky one is opening the hood with one hand while shooting with the other.

Pick a starting point and begin shooting. Take your time and move slowly shooting all parts of the car you want to definitely cover. I usually shoot all the car without stopping until done.

I walk up to car and shoot exterior then move inside, still shooting, and even get out and still shooting until done. And, in one take. This is not for the big screen.

Now go back and shoot individual features and parts for about 2 seconds each stopping after each shot. These would include all features for a video portfolio of the car and ones you may have forgotten.

Once you get the hang of it each car will take about about 7 - 12 minutes. Time depends upon how detailed you want to be. You did say "Detailed Video Walk Around".

I don't edit the complete no stop walk around. I use the individual 2 second shots as quick looks added to end of video. Each shot has a transition. I use iMovie on a MacBook Pro. But have also used free movie editor on a PC.

Here's an example: Detailed Walk Around of 2013 Scion FR-S 2 Door Coupe.
