Hello Everyone,

I have been trying to explore email capturing forms that I could I place on my main sites as well as over 30+ Micro sites. Has anyone looked into capturing emails only and how did you get it set up? These are a few of my goals that I would like to accomplish with my email campaign:

  • Where can I find an email only lead form that I can use on my websites?
  • What would be the best solution to manage all of my emails collected?
  • What has your experience been with capturing only email leads?
    • Did your regular forms capture less customers or stay about the same?

Thank you in advanced for all the help!

While s2member is great for building a membership site within Wordpress (I'm using it at AutomotiveSocialMediaSuccessSummit.com) I think Mario might be looking for something a bit different.

Mario there are services out there that will do this for you, such as

  • MailChimp
  • Constant Contact
  • Aweber
  • And a Bunch of Others

I recommend MailChimp, it may not have as many features as Aweber but it's very robust and is what I use. While I have graduated from the free version they do offer a free package that will allow you 2000 subscribers and 6000 emails per month.

Collecting Them

By offering an incentive for their email such as an ebook and a newsletter (it must be relevant) you can capture a lot of emails. For an auto dealer it can be an auto responder course that teaches negotiation tactics or what to look for in a used car, something that they would be interested in. I think I will write up a blog post on this and I will share it here for you... this is a really good question and one I have been meaning to tackle for some time now.

Thank you Jerry and David,

I was leaning more towards David's idea and have looked at MailChimp and Constant Contact. I have heard good reviews about MailChimp and think this might be the right service that I'm looking for!

Thanks!

They have a great free service that you can use until your list gets too big, very intuitive and easy to use.

Mario,

I just put up a post I wrote about building and maintaining an email list, find it HERE.
