Can anyone help me with some email blast templates. Whether in plain text, html, xml, etc. I'm getting 1 free a month from ADP's customer Touch but would like to do some of my own in house email blasts. Specifically for my Hyundai Franchise. I need to get more people in the door and it seems the emails I'm doing right now are working. I'd just like to find a quick simple easy way to do it. I use Buzztrak and WEB CRM so I can email out of either database. I'd appreciate if anyone could share some of theirs or any quick easy templates. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

First of all, I apologize for not paying attention to your forum post on Email Blasts tools sooner... Today I started looking at your forum thread and saw that your dealership uses CustomerTouch, BuzzTrack and webCRM which means you have an ADP dealer management system. ADP has been doing a lot of development work around improving and expanding the tools and integration between BuzzTrack, webCRM, the ADP DMS and what we can provide to our dealers using these systems.

Anyways, I am sure you have already heard a lot about this... I have sent your forum post and a couple of key comments to Larry Cochran, who is the ADP Vice President I report to. I have asked Larry to have an ADP CustomerTouch, webCRM and BuzzTrack specialist contact you…

As I am sure you know, I work for ADP, but try to keep ADM as agnostic as possible. Sometimes it seems that ADP's competitors get to toot their own horns, while I restrain myself so that ADM does not come across as being overly biased... But, with that said:

In 2005 I left Reynolds and Reynolds to work as the eBusiness Director at Courtesy Chevrolet in Phoenix, AZ and they had a CRM system I had never used before called "NetTrack" by some and "BuzzTrack" by others. At first I did not like it because it seemed too simple, almost too easy to use which made me think it was not powerful enough for what I intended. After I tried to get a Reynolds system in the dealership and found out we had 3 years to go on our NetTrack/BuzzTrack contract, I decided to make the best of using NetTrack...

Within 2 months I was completely won over and I customized our NetTrack/BuzzTrack system to the point where we were handling over 5,000 incoming leads and phone calls with it each month. I was able to set up a series of automated processes that were triggered by my Internet Sales Specialists and BDC rep's simply selecting the status of the lead based on their phone calls and emails to and from the customer... Each status triggered an automated schedule of emails and phone call reminders. I was able to tap into BuzzTrack's unique ability to switch processes and follow-up actions midstream when a new email came in or a phone call was logged to streamline our ability to handle leads extremely efficiently... I found out that sending individual automated emails to specific customers that were very tailored to their lead and situation specific using BuzzTrack's 50+ merge fields was more effective than mass emails of generic messages that individual people simply did not see as relevant to their needs or current place in the automotive buying cycle.

Anyways, I was able to use NetTrack/BuzzTrack from ADP to set up processes, reporting and tracking systems that let me grow my Internet and BDC teams from a handful of people in 2005 to a team that sold over 4,000 new and used vehicles in 2006! The dealer, Bill Gruwell, was so impressed with what we were doing that he let me design and build an incredible new BDC facility that is now run by his son-in-law.

Although I love my role at ADP and have no regrets about leaving Courtesy, when I occasionally visit the store, I speak to my old team members who are still there and they always mention that they wish they were still using NetTrack/BuzzTrack and had not changed to Autobase CRM, which was implemented by my replacement who crashed and burned, leaving in less than a year after being hired... But, they are stuck with their Autobase contract. When I ask why they think they should have stayed on NetTrack/BuzzTrack, George, Ship, Paul and the others simply say:
"We sold more cars with a lot less work when we were using BuzzTrack..."

Let me know if ADP does or does not contact you... Please. You have several VERY powerful systems in place, and the ADP CustomerTouch team can probably do a lot more to help you with a little prompting!

Now that I have given you my pitch, I am uploading 2 BuzzTrack tools and several email templates that I created and used at Courtesy Chevrolet by loading them into BuzzTrack's template library and automating them to go our when appropriate, based on changing the lead status in BuzzTrack... Keep in mind that you can work your leads in BuzzTrack and then use the "Push to DMS" button in the "Miscellaneous" tab to send all the updated lead data to webCRM.

These templates are great and I must say I'm already using most similiar. My main focus now is actually marketing my floor traffic that come in and don't buy that initial visit. I run a sole BDC session everyday for an hour and have all my sales consultants FUFU every client that was here the day prior. We are Traver Trained and follow that in BDCS Sessions for an hour each day. I use "up cards" before logging clients into our C.R.M. and strive to get 100% email addresses. I want to be able to send out specific weekly advertising emails in a "blast fashion" that I can create on my PC when I have limited down-time. I have dreamweaver but it seems you have to have a Phd in order to use that program. What I'm looking for is an easy way to build "Newspaper-type" email templates pricing cars and payments and of course strong calls to action. What I'm sending out now through ADP's Customer Touch program is 1 per rooftop per month with is in our contract. I want to be able to get a email created in html, xml, etc. without consuming too much time and taking me off the floor and doing the early up-front TO's that I strive to do with all my clients. Advertising is rough now a days and the email blasts I send seem to work and drive showroom traffic. I just don't think 1 a month is going to cut it. I need to get more showroom traffic. I'm a very hands ons Sales Manager and get in front of every single client that steps on my lot. I'm just looking for the easiest way to send out weekly Tysinger Hyundai Promotions to all the cliens we get emails from. I appreciate anyone that has comments, best practices, etc. or any suggestions that have worked in the past. Are you sure that you want to do those in house? If you are not careful, you will get your domain black listed from AOL, Yahoo and such. Also, make sure that your entire database is opt-in. If you wanted an ad made up and sent to your database it is not expensive. Worth the money for you not have to take the risk of any email that you send being marked as spam.

Using a professional service for this could potentially give you more bang for your buck. The question you have to ask yourself is - how much is your time worth and does that convert to the fee a service like mine will charge you. Some of the things we offer you that you may not be able to get yourself:

- Compliance with CAN-SPAM laws
- Imbedded links driving traffic to your dealer website
- Open rate and click-through reporting
- More time to sell cars!!!

If you want to try it in house here is an example of a quick template for advertising a vehicle special. Quick and Easy HTML template.txt I tried posting the code but it kept converting it. You will need to have all your inventory images stored on a server.
