Professional Community for Automotive Marketers, Car Dealers, OEM and Suppliers

Loading... Be Patient!
I spoke with Charlie Vogelheim earlier today and he has agreed to sponsor a session for ADM Professional Community members on Tuesday morning, Day 1 of the DrivingSales Executive Summit at the always ready for a party Hard Rock Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. The honorable Mr. Vogelheim will be providing a conference room and lining up several well Known automotive marketing professionals to address ADM members. Charlie expects to have Jeff Kershner from DealerRefresh, Jared Hamilton from, Chris Gugliotta from Lithia along with his own unique perspective on what it takes to be successful selling cars in today's environment.

In addition to providing the ADM community with its own meeting venue, I am waiting for Charlie to send me details on covering the hotel room expenses for several ADM members! Who will they be? That's what I want to hear from you about. How should we select 3 ADM Professional Community members to receive complimentary Red Rock Resort rooms for two nights in Las Vegas?

Let me know what you think...

I don't know how you'd go about selecting 3 people other than finding the most qualified out of those interested.

I know that this would certainly be something that interests me.

I've been in Internet Marketing since 2002 and have been e-Commerce/Internet Director for several large auto groups in Southern California including the Moss Bros. Auto Group which was named one of the Top 10 eCRM dealers in the country by AutoSuccess magazine in January 2008. When I started with Moss, they had virtually no internet sales departments. I helped implement and train a 30 person BDC with the help of the BZ Results team and helped grow the internet sales to what they are today. I'm not on the retail end (dealership) anymore but I certainly feel that I could provide valuable insights and ideas from both the retail side and the vendor side. I'm familiar (from my retail experience and my experience as a vendor) in many solutions for dealers and feel that I could contribute to the discussions.

Thanks for the consideration.
I'll second Arnold. I met him at a DD conference a few years ago and at this most recent DD conference, he sat at the internet roundtable I mediated. Arnold gave a lot of strong information and had insight and openness while sharing his own circumstances when relating to others.

My question is, Ralph, the DrivingSales Executive Summit is going to be at the Hard Rock I thought. If Charlie and Jared were generous enough to covering some expenses for ADM members to attend, wouldn't they want to do it at the hotel where their conference is?

When Charlie called me I was leaving my hotel, jumping in the rental car and headed to a meeting that I only vaguely remembered the location of... To say I was distracted would be an understatement. I am sure the Red/Hard Rock issue is my mistake and that you, Paul and everyone else is correct. I also posted from my cell phone while waiting to board a flight on the outbound, which I did because I promised Charlie I would before leaving Medford. One thing I like the most about Charlie Vogelheim is that he is a true believer... Like many of us he is committed to the betterment of the industry and the crafts of those who work in it. I have seen Charlie do "the right thing" enough times that when he asks me for something, I go out of my way to get it done for him.
Ralph I think Arnold would take direction from you. As joe said I spent a lot of time with him too at the Digital Dealer Vegas conf. He'll get the job done for ya.....
Ralph Drivingsales Executive Summit is not at the Red Rock Resort. It is at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casio.

I will be in attendance and sharing with the communities on several points of interest.

I'll be there for the week as well - looking forward to seeing everyone there...

Thank you for catching that mistake... And the Hard Rock is a long, long way from the Red Rock!
Ralph, I also would recommend Arnold. He would provide great insight. I am not sure of my travel plans, but would be nice to stop by and say hi to all, at whatever rock in Vegas it is at.
It would be great to see you... Charlie has agreed to provide meeting rooms and service for Tuesday AM, and I am sure Paul Rushing is correct about it being at the Hard Rock.
I'll be there...and I am looking forward to meeting so many people who I have chatted with online. I suggested a few discussion topics for the Summit... and I hope those who are attending will make the time to come and say hello.
Just curious who will be attending this year? My calendar is jam packed but if the right people are going....
I'll be getting in later tuesday but I believe I'll be dropping in to say hello. Gotta represent DealerRefresh! :)
