I am wondering how you all see the opportunity to be successful with Craigslist postings? Are you more likely posting pre-owned vehicles on Craigslist for a selling price not more than $15k or do you also put your higher prices inventory, let's say a $39k BMW on it?
Any suggestion, lesson learned experience or facts are highly appreciated.

Thank you Stan for your note. I have the same opinion to have the "cheap charly's" on craigslist, and rather put an interesting car, like a BMW M6 convertible on National Ebay listing, and the $39k well priced 3 Series on a Spotlight Ad with autotrader. You confirmed my strategy and I will go on with this plan. Thanks again. Talk to you soon.
Hey Stan,

I hear and agree with your point about different sites attracting different "profiles" of buyers and sellers but my experience has been to "co-mingle" what is expected on each site since many first time users for each have their own expectations when they find the sites and "going against" the stream often lets your "a-typical" vehicle stand out. Geting a buyers atention is job one and some silly people look in price order - both directions - so polarizing on the top of both types of searches doubles your chances of meeting a potential buyer even if it means switching them to what they need vs. what they thought that they wanted.

Just another variation of the theme to go against the competitive flow since standing out of the crowd often cuts through the clutter of the masses that only follow what is expected. Switching them to the "shoe - car" that fits is the next step in any selling price - virtual or real!

Just a thought amongst us friends!
I post any car on Craigslist, it does not matter. I have great results with almost any car. The cars under $8,000 do go faster ,because that is what most people want to spend for a teenager or 2nd car.
Thanks Robert for you insight. Happy selling.
My inventory is all under GM warrenty, Thus 10grand-20grand. I dont see a lot of action, however I have sold 3 of it. I have my wife do it from home. Here first comment: That takes a lot of time! Welcome to Timmys world!! Put it to the wall see how sticky the wall is!
Thank you for your response. One tip: I am using in the majority of my dealerships NETLOOK as my photo provider and at Honda I am using AutoUpLinkUSA, which are both able to push the whole inventory or selected cars into craigslist or ebay with the push of a button. Even the tempates are set up. You should approach may be your photo provider and ask if they are able to provide the service. Netlook is doing it for free, AutoUplink charges me around $30.
When i was putting all the inventory up people were getting mad.
