Ok, I have never posted on here before, only read stuff. But now I need some help. We are extremely close to putting our BDC in the store, but my expertise (none) is limited what I have read and heard. I plan on visiting a number of stores I know who are successful in this and I am also attending NADA and possibly Digital Dealer to get some more ideas-consultants, vendors etc. This strategy worked very well for me last year as I brought in Dealer Socket as our CRM provider-WILDLY SUCCESSFUL!-But now we are truly ready for the next step, a BDC. I would like some good ideas from sample job descriptions, pay plans etc. and I just can't seem to find them on here. Can anyone help me find these things and offer some advice. I am in no way an "internet guy." I don't have video on my site yet because I don't know how to use my flip camera! I can take pictures and tell my vendor how I want the site to look, but thats it. I have a GREAT candidate that really has everything I am looking for, but I don't want to put him in and say-here it is-go for it, and provide him no direction. My goal is to have him start right when the BDC goes into place so we both learn together. I am the GSM at the store and unlike some other sales guys, I strongly support and try to actively learn about digital marketing and implement everything I can. Its just too much for me to manage now though. If I really wanted it to be done right, then I need to put someone else in place. I am also shopping for a consultant to assist us. Any ideas?
