Loading... Be Patient!

Based on the phone calls and messages I have been getting
over the past few days, there seems to be a significant number
of people making last minute plans to attend the 8th Digital Dealer
Conference in Orlando... And, that's OK! Seriously, you will be far
better off doing something like going to the Digital Dealer
Conference without much advance planning, than say...
Spot delivering that 480 Beacon score walking around the
showroom floor right now who claims to be the beneficiary of a
huge trust fund left to him by his uncle whose last name was
Simplot. Although, that once happened to me and the kid rode up
on his bicycle! Turned out to be true and when he turned in copies
of his trust fund papers so he could get a 50% loan to establish his
credit, I was blown away by the fact that he was worth over
$100 Million... He asked that we keep it confidential, but when a
young lady who worked for me asked if it was OK to go out on a
date with this customer, I highly recommended that she do it, and
then extolled the young man's virtue's (without the trust fund
mentioned) and encouraged her to pursue getting to know him

But, as usual, I digress...

ANYWAYS... Go get yourself a plane ticket to Orlando,
RIGHT NOW and for room reservations call the Doubletree
Resort call 407-352-1100 and ask for the Dealer
Communication room block.

Please DO NOT call the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel!

Are you making last minute arrangements?

My last minute plans were to cancell my "official" networking party on Monday evening, the 19th, because I found out that most of my guests weren't coming in until Tuesday morning. Of course a few early birds are still meeting me and mine for drinks at the hotel's lobby lounge and anyone reading this post is welcome to join us, but the REAL PARTY is yours for ADM on Tuesday night so I just adjusted my/our plans accordingly --- as should anyone reading this post!

Anyway, see you at Ralph's party in Orlando!

After all, what are friends, ADM and The 8th Digital Dealer Conference for!
Awe Phil. I was looking forward to being at your party. It was great time in Tenn. Ok see you in the lobby perhaps. If not definitely at Ralph's. Ralph is your suite going to be big enough? Lol
I'm there Monday! Don't want to miss any Tuesday am!
No worries! If you are there on Monday evening call me on my cell -- 561-213-4300 -- and I will buy you a drink! After all, what are friends for!

For you car guys out there -- yes, my wife will be there and that invitation is open to all ADM members before anyone tries to start a rumor about me and Elizabeth! Jeez, get a life!
Well your beautiful and charming better 1/2 is the reason to go. Alas, I tried to reschedule a closing on a house in order to come but it looks like I'll see you all in Tennessee.

Whether you are making last minute plans or you booked well in advance, please stop by the Black Book booth #625 on Wednesday from 5pm-7pm. Black Book is going to give away 200 copies of my book, Adapt Or Die: How The Internet Is Destroying Dealer Profits And What To Do About It. I'll be in the booth to sign the books until I get hand cramps.

I'll also be handing out a "Adapt Or Die" one page sheet that will tell you everything you need to know (and who to call) to make you a rock star! It's all free and free is always in the budget.

Please stop by and say hi. I look forward to seeing you!
I recommend everybody to read this book!
I heard it was canceled or rescheduled, so I canceled my reservations. Is it back on!???
You are the victim of a not-so-funny April Fool's Joke... There was never any change of dates or venues, and with more than 500 dealers already registered, Digital Dealer #8 was CERTAINLY NOT CANCELLED!

So, my question to you, Mr. Kris Thomas, is; Are you a Fool? Because if you fell for that April Fool's joke, and did not go to to verify, then there are quite a few people who would categorize you as a "Fool", "Gullible" or even as a "Sucker".

Alternately, if you knew this piece of mis-information WAS an April Fool's joke, and in fact was not true, then repeating the false information in a public venue like ADM shows poor judgement and the desire to maliciously inflict harm or negative impact... Making you some type of scum bag.

So, since you did post this piece of trash comment, my second question is are you a "Fool" or a "Scum Bag"?
Hey Ralph,

Just checking to see if you are OK since you seemed uncharecteristically angry in your last comment? I agree with your concern over perpetuating a VERY serious abuse of social media that may have impacted our ADM friends and anyone seeking knowledge -- or to share some -- at The 8th Digital Dealer Conference, including you and I, but in reviewing your comments on ADM I can count your use of "scum bag" not on one hand but on one finger so I figured I would jump in first to agree in principle and then to say - no worries! You still have your wife, friends, good looks, ADM and your party starts in just six days!

See you in Orlando!
Phil, comments like this one from you are just one of many reasons you are such a great resource for all of us in the ADM Community. You are right, of course...I over-reacted and took pleasure in calling somebody names that are innapropriate.

Maybe I take this whole transparency thing too seriously and should heed professional courtesy and appropriate use of language...

Let's you and I have a F2F conversation about this in Orlando.
