I don't have any concrete data to support the habits of the current internet buyer, but over the last 9 years I can say that we have turned many into repeats but many are still search for the best deal when it's time to buy again, especially those who live hours away.

Hypothetically, would it be possible to give an internet sales person leads for a couple of years and then have them rely on their repeat business and walk-ins to maintain their business? We are a small rural community in between a college town and a fairly big city with several other dealers within a 35mile range.

Any insight, data,  or how your departments work would be greatly appreciated.
