Attend this session and drive down the road to the Internet sale with automotive Internet veteran, Chris Fousek. He'll break out the road map, then chart the steps from the arrival of the lead to beyond the sale. The focus of this session will be on the key fundamentals that can generate engagement, build rapport, and stay off price while gaining commitment from your prospect along the way. These fundamentals are often overlooked resulting in the poor performance of many dealers. Chris Fousek is the e-commerce director with Cadillac Village of Norwood and The Village Automotive Group in Boston, Massachusetts, where he has worked since starting in the car business in 1999. Fousek's perspective is unique, "Not long after starting as a salesperson on the floor in '99, I was asked by the GM to take on the Internet and figure it out. I just took what was working for me on the floor and started to apply it to our online customers. I didn't see any difference between the two." In this new role, Fousek became involved in the construction of the groups early web sites and has continued to work closely with developers and vendors throughout the industry. He is a returning speaker and was featured in the August 2010 issue of Digital Dealer magazine.
