Automotive Event Description

The countdown has started to the 12th Digital Dealer Conference & Exposition, April 3-5, at The Rosen Shingle Creek Resort, Orlando!

Once again, we’re expecting a record turnout for this event, so sign up early to ensure your spot.

The last conference in Las Vegas drew more than 1,100 dealers and managers from almost every state and featured 94 sessions and workshops and more than 95 exhibitors. Combined, the last two Digital Dealer Conferences drew more than 2,100 registered dealers, GMs, sales managers, Internet sales managers, e-commerce directors, BDC/CRM managers, fixed operations managers, and pre-owned managers – every one of them there to learn more about Internet and technology-related issues from speakers and exhibitors.

DD12 in Orlando this April will be even bigger and will be even better. But the Digital Dealer Conferences are not the best because they are the biggest...they are the biggest because they are the BEST. There simply is no other event at which you can learn so much in three short days. Nobody has, has had, or ever will have the selection of sessions (90+), the exhibitors with which to meet (95+), and the opportunities to meet and network with dealers and managers from all over the country like Digital Dealer.

We expect well over 100 exhibitors and more than 2,000 total attendees in Orlando this spring, with over 1,200 attendees coming from dealerships around the country. We’ve done 11 of these and we have the formula for getting you the most bang for your buck...and your time.

The 12th Digital Dealer Conference & Exposition will continue to build on the learning and excitement from previous conferences with 94 sessions and even more emphasis on the cutting-edge topics for dealers and managers, such as using and managing social media to build business, online reputation management, effective website analytics, and more.

Register right now to reserve your spot(s) and get your hotel room(s) locked up.

I look forward to meeting you there!

The Evolution of Automotive Digital Marketing – Where Do Dealers Go From Here?

A brief overview of the last 10 years, where the ‘State of the Art’ for car dealers stands today, and where the most successful dealers will get their competitive advantage tomorrow…

Ralph Paglia will share insights gained from 20 years of designing, implementing and managing digital marketing strategies and tactics for car dealers. He will provide an overview of lessons learned that allude to critical mistakes being made by many dealers today. He will review dealer best practices specific to selecting software tools, deciding what should be managed in-house versus what and when it is better to outsource. He will provide attendees with access to multiple online tools, reporting and tracking systems, as well as multiple free and low cost resources that they can begin using before they return to their dealerships from Orlando. Attendees will learn how to apply tracking systems to Key Performance Indicator (KPI) measurement points that make managing a dealer’s digital marketing strategy easier and simpler for dealers and general managers. You will also learn how to use these same KPI measurement and reporting techniques to make recommended budget allocation changes that will help your dealership realize a stronger ROI from your total marketing investment each month. Each attendee will be provided with access to download a proprietary Excel spreadsheet file that they can use to make media allocation recommendations based on Paglia’s unique “Budget Cascade” automated calculations derived from minimum budget requirements and maximum effectiveness peaks within each digital and offline channel.

What action items will attendees take back to the dealerships?
1. Create a Google Adwords account for the dealership
2. Download and complete the Digital Dealer Self-Assessment document
3. Download and apply the Digital Marketing Budget Optimizer tool

Ralph Paglia has 20-plus years of leadership in information technology enabled automotive marketing strategy and tactical implementation. Widely known as the outspoken director of Digital Marketing at ADP Dealer Services, Paglia is now vice president of Digital at Tier 10 Marketing. He is also the founder and editor-in-chief of America’s leading social network for automotive marketing and sales professionals. The Automotive Digital Marketing (ADM) Professional Community provides an online exchange for strategies, tactics, best practices, files, images, videos and professional networking amongst marketing professionals working in the car business. Paglia has presented critically acclaimed workshops at each of the 11 previous Digital Dealer Conferences.

Yes, TrueCar is a sponsor, but look at it this way... Maybe it is about time TrueCar spend some of it's venture capital money on something that benefits car dealers and the people who work for them!

Isn't truecar a sponsor at this event? I guess for a price you're not irrelevant? Hypocrisy is such a slippery slope!!
